HID Ballasts.

Our HID Ballasts are mostly Slim Digital AC/DC ballasts which are around 15mm thick by 100mm long and 60mm wide, the 100w HID Ballast is a 9-32v AC/DC Ballast that is around 30mm thick, they are all the latest in design and technology. They are manufactured to be an easy fit solution for where there is not much room for the fitment of your hid's. We also supply 35w Can-Bus ballasts and 55w can-Bus Ballasts which are suitable for BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and other high end vehicles computers.

Can-Bus Ballasts | Error Canceling HID Kits.

Can-Bus Ballasts are for vehicles where the computer controls parts of the lighting system, you will need a can-bus compatible hid kit. A canbus hid conversion kit will give the computer the correct signal that will not only be compatible with the lighting system, but will not damage the computer in your car. Our 55w Can-Bus HID Ballasts work on 100% of canbus and non-canbus vehicles.

HID Decoders.

We have tested a lot of "so-called" can-bus decoders and and error canceling units and a lot will work on some vehicles but not on others. The reason is some are more aggressive and some are more sensitive. Our pulse, can-bus HID Decoders will work on vehicles which require a heavy load, and others that are requiring the correct back-feed signal to the computer.

HID Bulb Colours | 6000k, 4300k, or 8000k?

Scientists tell us that our eyes are best suited to see the contrast of objects at midday sunlight. This is approximately 5770 Kelvin. HID Bulb Colours are available from 3000k-30,000k which covers the scope of all the colour spectrum from red to purple. 4300k warm white (4000k-4500k) and 6000k cool white (5500k-6500k)are the best light for seeing the contrast of objects in the dark, with 5500k-6500k now becoming the preferred colour temperature for BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and others. 4200k was also an option for some of the older Mercedes and Honda, and can still be an option if preferred today. 5500k-6500k is certainly the most popular with over 99% of customers preferring this colour temperature, and also the closest to mid-day sunlight.

We have established the broadest range of available HID Bulbs in the industry, from the VW Amarok H15 H/L, to the 880,881, Series bulbs found on some imported tractor lights, HB5 9007, H16, we have them all. We even supply the OEM D1S, D2S, and the whole D3,D4, S/R/C range of Original Equipment Manufactured light bulbs if needed.

Fog-light HID Kits.

Some foglights have a very small space inside the light and can be difficult to fit an hid bulb into. Most of our kits are suitable for fog light upgrades in Australia, and we can source hid parts for any special needs. 35w, 55w, 70w/75w or 100w (there are fake 120w and 150w hid ballasts around, but they are only 100w). The wattage of an HID Ballast will dictate the brightness of the light, the kelvin rating, (eg; 6000k), will dictate the colour of the light. Low beam OEM products are always 35 watt which is equal in brightness to a 150w halogen bulb, but uses 50% less power than the common standard 55w halogen that are fitted OEM into a cars low beam. For high beam and driving light upgrades, 35w, 55w, 70w, 75w, and 100 watt are available. Respectively, 70w is equal in brightness to a 300w halogen bulb and only uses 70w of power which is a little more than a 60w OEM halogen bulbs that come standard in most high beam headlights.

It is always best to check your operators instruction manual to see which type of bulb is in your vehicle as it can vary from country to country.
