The LED Headlight Adapters will not look exactly the same as your halogen headlight adapters, (otherwise you could just use the original ones), so don't expect the to look exactly the same. The main difference is that an led headlight adapter will have a hole in the middle of it, whereas a halogen bulb adapter generally will not.

The retainers on the LED adapter kits work on the same principle as original adapters, whereas they either create a space for the bulb to be retained, or they can have lugs that you push into the headlight and turn to lock the bulb and adapter it into place in the headlight.
