Pro Vision Lighting & Electrical has been testing and supplying LED Headlight Bulbs since the first ones entered the market a number of years ago. Heading into 2019 we have some new releases that we are excited about. The latest additions are the X8 Pro PLUS and the Quick-Fit LED Bulbs.

The X8 Pro PLUS are a new upgraded version of the X8 Pro, with some great new features. The X8 Pro PLUS are now Brighter, Have better optical parameters, better led's, a longer life, are more compact, and are more versatile than ever before.

The Quick-Fit are a new addition for an "all-in-one" led globe for headlights, and they are only just now powerful enough to be considered an easy fit solution to give you brighter lights with a long led globe lifespan.

The Pro Vision Lighting range of led upgrade bulbs for headlights are carefully selected so that you get a high quality product at the lowest possible price. Below are a few tips to selecting which bulb is best suited for your vehicle and application.

The first thing to look out for is the the amount of room from where the bulb seats into the housing to the back of the dust cover. On some models, there is not much room, and a lot of led bulbs are to bulky to fit in properly (such as JW Speaker led bulbs). The latest models of the Pro Vision range of led bulbs are compact at the back of them so are easy to fit. The X8 Pro PLUS for example is only 34mm from where it sits in the housing to the back of the bulb, giving you plenty of room to put the dust cover back on.

Is your vehicle Can-Bus Controlled? Can-Bus means that the computer controls when the lights turn on and off. On some models, when you get in the car and turn the ignition on, the lights come on automatically, and for these vehicles, you may need to get can-bus decoders. All our Can-Bus decoders are free with our led kits, you just need to tell us you need them. On the X8 Pro PLUS led kits, they will work on 95% of vehicles without you having to get additional can-bus decoders If you are unsure, give us a call or send us an email and we can go over it with you.

LED Headlight Bulb Adapters. Bulb adapters are plastic or metal retainers that the original halogen bulb sits into first before you put the bulb in the headlamp. When you get an led headlamp bulb that has a bulb adapter, you need to get led bulb adapters with the kit. Again, we send them out for free with the kits, we just need to know if you need them or not.

Beam patterns and adjustments. Most led bulbs are static, in that you can't adjust the bulb itself, you can only adjust the headlamp up and down and left and right. Our latest series of upgraded led bulbs have the ability for you to fine tune the beam pattern so you can get the best cut-off points and beam angles to suit your driving needs.

LED Chips. We here a lot about Philips Led's or Cree led's in headlight bulbs, but to be on top of the game you need to get the latest releases of led lighting technology that is out there today. Led technology affects how the beam pattern will react with your headlamp to correctly project the light forward out of the lens. The Pro Vision Lights latest led bulb upgrades have led's specifically built for headlamps, whereas a lot of manufactures simply use either fake led's, that are not OEM, or do not have the engineering capability to seat the led's correctly so you get the best result. Simply sticking high power led's on the end of the bulb simply will not benefit the illumination and optics required to give you the best lighting effect.
